Women Handbag Thefts
Three young women were arrested after assaulting two women and stealing their handbags in Hamilton last night.
The first assault and robbery occurred at about 21:30 as a woman was waiting to be picked up by her husband after finishing work at the Westfield shopping center in Hukanui Rd, Chartwell.
While the woman's husband came to the van, another car pulled up beside him.
A woman came out, attacked the woman and took off with her handbag.
